43rd Carnival | Provincetown
August 15-21 at multiple venues
This year’s Parade has been cancelled, but the celebration of LGBTQ+ goes on with the theme of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. There will be fun and festive activities all week, like “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore” Sunset Boat Cruise and “There’s No Place Like Home” Closing Party.
Mosquito Story Slam | Wellfleet
August 5 & 17 at 7:00pm at the Wellfleet Preservation Hall
If you love a good story, you’ll enjoy Cape Cod’s premiere storytelling show, The Mosquito Story Slam for “stories with a bite”. Audience members are invited to prepare a 5-minute, true story based on a theme, then 10 storytellers are chosen at random to present their stories. Special guest host and audience favorites are also featured. August themes are “The Morning After” and “Modern Love”.
