Don’t fill up beforehand – you’ll need your appetite.
#1. Red Apple Farm | Boston
Red Apple Farm, located in the Boston Public Market, makes mini cider doughnuts (as many as 10,000 a day) and serves up in a paper sack to snack on throughout the day. Voted one of Boston’s best doughnut shops by the Boston Globe, they source their apples from a family-run orchard in Central Mass.
#2. Atkins Farm | Amherst
What started as a small produce farm has transformed into a fabulous 80-acre destination for fresh produce, apple picking, and of course donuts! Made with their own apple cider, they have been using the same recipe since 1971 and make over 10,000 doughnuts per day in the Fall.
#3. Jack in the Beanstalk | Falmouth
Located next to Falmouth High School, Jack in the Beanstalk is a locally-owned produce and gourmet food store. They started making apple cider donuts a few years ago to much success. Our Falmouth agent, Bonnie O’Neill said once her husband tried a freshly cooked donut, he has hooked.
